Jeff began his career with the Hollywood Police Department in 1979. Over the years he has worked in Motors, Street Crimes, SWAT and CID. He retired in 2009 after 30 years of service.

Jeff became a PBA rep in 1982 and was elected to Executive Board as Secretary in 1991.

 

Debbie Reggio

My status

Debbie began her law enforcement career in 1977 with the Ft. Lauderdale Police Department working in Records, Communications and Detention. She joined BSO in 1983 as a Detention Deputy, and then transferred to Road Patrol. She has been a member of the PBA since 1988 and was elected as a representative in 2001 and to the Board of Directors in 2004. She strives to defend PBA members, looking out for their best interests and working to obtain maximum benefits for them both locally and statewide. Debbie has an Associate of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from Broward College and she is currently detached to the PBA.

 

 

Rodney Skirvin

My status

Rod received fire and EMT training from the Broward Fire Academy in 1985. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1986, where he served until 1990. He joined the Coconut Creek Police Department in 1991 and is currently a detective there.  He has served as PBA rep since 2001.

My status

Drew received his Bachelor of Science in Criminology from Florida State University in 1994. He joined the Pembroke Pines Police Department in 1996, serving on Road Patrol for eight years, then moving on to the Investigations Division. He has been a member of the Pembroke Pines SWAT team since 2001. Drew became a PBA rep in 2008 and has been actively involved in contract negotiations, political candidate screening committees and political campaigns.

Lee was a member of the 151st Broward County Police Academy. He joined the Davidson County (Tenn.) Sheriff's Office in 1987 and served that community for three years. In 1991 he came back to Florida and began his career with BSO, where he has been for the past 22 years. He has served on the Board of Directors for four years.

My status

Linda keeps member records up to date and assists members with address and beneficiary changes. She also keeps track of dues payments, both from individual members and from agencies utilizing dues deductions.

 

Kimberly

My status

Kimberly's responsibilities include keeping a survey of all of the benefits of the police agencies in Broward County, which are used during contract negotiations. She assists the Executive Board with secretarial duties as well as handling accounts receivable/payables, political screening scheduling, letters and checks as well as filing required reports with the Division of Elections.  She is also responsible for taking the minutes at each Board of Directors meeting.  Additionally, Kimberly pays the off-duty details worked by some of the agencies that we represent and manages the detail account.

My status

Maryann answers the phone and greets, assists and guides our members as they enter the PBA office. She is responsible for the sales of all PBA merchandise and helps staff with mail-outs and other projects.

 

Irene Shaw

My status

Irene interviews deputies/officers requesting legal assistance and opens, updates and maintains legal request files. She acts as liaison between deputies/officers and IA investigators; sets appointments for statements and assists General Counsel during Appeals and Arbitrations.

 

Megan Gordon

My status

Megan has a Bachelor of Science in Advertising from the University of Florida. She has been writing professionally since 1990.

She is responsible for writing, editing and producing The Broward Centurion on a monthly basis. She also produces other printed matter and communications for the Executive Board as needed.

 

Pat Hanrahan

Pat has Bachelor of Science from Florida State University and a Master of Science from Nova Southeastern University. He began his law enforcement career with the Pompano Beach Police Department in 1975, where he served on Road Patrol and as a Vice and Narcotics Detective. He was also a Field Training Officer. He joined BSO with the 1999 merger with Pompano. He retired from BSO in December 2012. He is a Life Member of the Pompano Beach FOP, serves on the County Commissioners Elderly and Veterans Services Advisory Board and was a founding member of the Law Enforcement Emerald Society of South Florida. He has been an Executive Board Member since 1983.
